Katrina Halili is a Filipino actress and model born on January 4, 1986. She is of Chinese descent, and grew up in the beautiful island region of Palawan. She first made a mark in Philippine show business by being part of the reality talent search, StarStruck. After the reality competition ended, she gained immediate celebrity status due to her alluring figure and vibrant personality.

Among the first few shows Katrina Halili became part of were SOP Gigsters, a weekend variety show which showcased her as well as her fellow StarStruck finalists. She also became a regular face on television by portraying antagonist roles such as the Black Darna in Darna, and as Juno in Majika. In both shows she was cast to ridicule actress Angel Locsin, her onscreen rival back then.

Katrina Halili also embarked on the movie scene, beginning with a bit role in Kilig…Pintig…Yanig (Shiver, Beat and Quiver), followed by more substantial roles in films such as Super Noypi and Shake, Rattle and Roll 9.

But her success as an actress became more visible in the small screen. Katrina Halili was frequently cast to play villainess roles in shows such as Lupin, and MariMar. She was soon given the chance to play the lead role in the TV adaptation of the movie Magdusa Ka (Suffer) opposite matinee idol Dennis Trillo.

Regularly cast to play movies that become entries to the annual Metro Manila Film Festival held in December of each year, Katrina Halili soon became part of the ensemble cast in the film One Night Only. She also starred in the thriller Sundo and eventually took on the role of Fedra in another Mexican-inspired drama, Rosalinda.

Katrina Halili is also a cover girl for various magazines, and has posed for print ads and other product endorsements. She once dated singer Kris Lawrence, and is currently single.
